The Discover Islam Society organized an Umrah pilgrimage for New Muslims, with a total of 43 participants. This journey is deemed one of the most profound experiences in a New Muslim’s life since embracing Islam. It encompasses visiting the Holy Kaaba, performing the sacred rites of the pilgrimage, visiting the Prophet’s Mosque, and offering salutations to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Additionally, the pilgrims visited the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an, where they received a warm welcome, and each was presented with a copy of the Qur’an translation in their native language.
The group of New Muslims comprised of 19 men and 36 women, with pilgrims hailing from the Philippines, India, Thailand, Ghana, and Sri Lanka. They expressed their incalculable happiness and overwhelming joy for this long-anticipated journey.
The Discover Islam Society extends heartfelt gratitude to the benefactors of this blessed voyage, particularly the Al-Salam Group for Umrah, which regularly sponsors complete Umrah trips for New Muslims, and acknowledges the support of the Naseem Group for Umrah for several pilgrims during the month of Shawwal.
