The Research Department successfully conducted the 4th Internship Program in Bahrain inviting interns from Portugal, Malaysia, Pakistan and the Philippines. The Program was well received as the commendations and feedback from the participants and trainers reflect. The positive feedback praised the course content, the interactive delivery, and adept execution of assigned projects throughout the nearly two-month training period.
Each trainee also acquired practical experience at the end of each week through Street Da’wah, Da’wah tables, and the Awareness through mosque tours every Saturday at the Al Fateh Grand Mosque.
As an integral part of the training, trainees were tasked with undertaking three types of projects:
· Group Project: A collaborative endeavor undertaken by all trainees together. This year, the chosen group project was an Exhibition on Jesus (peace be upon him), which highlights his position in Islam and serves as a medium to introduce Islam to non-Muslims. The trainees planned, designed and independently organized this exhibition.
· Individual Project for Discover Islam: Each trainee was assigned a project that directly benefits Discover Islam’s departments, programs, and activities.
· Da’wah Project for Home Country: Trainees selected a project that benefits their home countries, focusing on Da’wah activities that are common to those undertaken by Discover Islam.
In total, the interns completed 18 individual projects and one group project, culminating in a total of 19 projects.
